This policy covers each Wright calculator app for Android and this website. In short: The Wright calculator apps collect no personal data.
What the app collects
- No personal data. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no advertising ID.
- No account and no sign-in.
- The app calculates offline. Your settings, memories and calculation tape are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Network use
The app goes online for two things only: the optional Pro purchase and update checks, described below. Neither sends an identifier or personal data.
Purchases through Google Play
The optional one-time Pro unlock uses Google Play Billing. Payment is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; we never see your card details. Google gives us limited order information (such as order number, date, product, price and country), which we use only to handle refunds, accounting and tax, and keep as long as Dutch tax law requires (7 years).
Update checks
When it starts, and now and then when you return to it, the app checks wrightcalc.app for a minimum-version notice: a small file that says which versions are still supported, so we can ask you to update if a version has a serious fault. The app also asks Google Play's update service whether a newer version is available; that check is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. No identifiers or personal data are sent with either check. Like any website, our web host may log the request's IP address (see This website below). Without a connection the app skips the check.
If you email support@wrightcalc.app, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete the conversation once it is resolved unless you ask us to keep it.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no third-party scripts or fonts. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare processes your IP address briefly to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Controller and your rights
The controller is OID4Pay B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK 42074824). Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of any personal data we hold about you; write to support@wrightcalc.app. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
Privacyverklaring (Nederlands)
De Wright-rekenmachines verzamelen geen persoonsgegevens. Geen analytics, geen advertenties, geen account. De app rekent offline; instellingen, geheugens en het rekenrolletje staan alleen op uw apparaat en verdwijnen als u de app verwijdert.
De app gebruikt het netwerk alleen voor twee dingen, en stuurt daarbij geen identificatiegegevens of persoonsgegevens mee. Ten eerste de updatecontrole: bij het starten en af en toe als u terugkeert, vraagt de app bij wrightcalc.app een melding op over de minimaal ondersteunde versie, en vraagt de app aan de updatedienst van Google Play of er een nieuwere versie is. Zoals bij elke website kan onze webhost het IP-adres van het verzoek registreren. Ten tweede Google Play Billing voor de optionele eenmalige Pro-aankoop. Google verwerkt de betaling onder het privacybeleid van Google; wij zien geen betaalgegevens. Van Google ontvangen wij beperkte bestelgegevens (zoals ordernummer, datum, product, prijs en land), die wij alleen gebruiken voor terugbetalingen, boekhouding en belasting, en bewaren zolang de fiscale bewaarplicht (7 jaar) vereist.
Mailt u ons, dan gebruiken wij uw adres en bericht alleen om te antwoorden. Deze website gebruikt geen cookies en geen trackers; hosting via Cloudflare Pages.
